LEVEL 3: My favorite piece of technology! 🦋

POST 3
Hello everyone,
Today, I would like to talk about my favorite piece of technology. From time to time I wonder what artifact I couldn't live without. It is incredible to see how the human being has been coming up with objects that help us have a much more confortable lifestyle. And even if it’s kind of obvious, the one object I couldn’t live without is my cellphone.
When I was 8 years old my mom gave me my first phone, I remember I used to call her and take lots of pictures. Throughout the years, the functions of that phone became very minimal. So I had to keep up with technology and kept buying new ones, until I got to my current one.
The cellphone that I have now became an important piece for me. My family gave it to me as a gift on Christmas 2019, which was quite a surprise because the last time they gave me one was in 2015. One of the reasons of why they gave it to me was for me to be able to take pictures of my work, to leave records of what I do as a designer.
To be honest, the fact that I’m using it pretty much all day made it something essential for me. With my phone I communicate with my friends, with people from other parts of the world, I can listen to the music that I enjoy and watch videos about the things I like.
When I went on a trip to the south, I was able to see beautiful places, with the most beautiful colors that I had ever seen, and my way of materialize those memories was trough my cellphone camera. I stored those memories from that trip on my phone and then I was able to show them to my family when I came back home. That makes it important to me.
Long story short, the smartphone is the technological object which I could not give up, it became my life partner that helps me capture what I see and allows me to keep it in my memory. I will leave you some photographs that I took with my cellphone so that you can see part of my trip to the south, how the landscapes were photographed from this technological artifact 📷
